Elise is senior supervising Immigration Lawyer at the firm with a focus on economic and family based Canadian permanent resident status, work permits, study permits, humanitarian and compassionate applications and complex admissibility issues.
Certified as a Specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law by the Law Society of Ontario, and with over 18 years of experience as an immigration lawyer, Elise provides high quality client focused legal assistance, while leading a team of experienced and empathetic immigration lawyers and case managers. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2003, and from the French language Glendon College, at York University, with a Bachelor of Arts (Bilingual) degree in Political Science.
Aside from her professional accomplishments, Elise has extensive volunteer experience including in community based legal aid and as a speaker/workshop leader on immigration issues to various groups, including post-secondary institutions, NGOs and emergency shelter workers.
